This past April, I decided that I was going to eliminate ALL junk food and find healthy alternatives. I wanted to change up my life style and break my bad eating habits! and IT WORKED! I am now still to this day and probably for the rest of my life eating healthy! And let me tell you, I feel great! I have so much energy now and feel and look so much better than before! Now of course i dont deprive myself and allow myself to have NO junk like dessert and sandwiches, I just eat them every once in a while and have small portions. But mainly I eat all healthy and try to resist junk food as best I can. For example, I resist all chips and crackers at parties, and I skip dessert, unless i TRULY TRULY want it. Now this was vcery hard in the beginning, but after a while, it became so easy. The best tip I have for you as far as eating healthy is the less ingredients the better!
To help me become healthy, I started eating healthy, so I'm going to share my FAVORITE healthy foods and what you can substitute them for!
1.) XOCHITL chips- These are AMAZING! They are so good and have very few ingredients, which are also pretty healthy.
2.) Kashi Go Lean Crunch- This cereal is not only delicious but is very good for you. It has tons of fiber, protein, and it has many important whole grains.
3.) FRUIT! I am obsessed with fruit! It is my favorite snack! I love everything from grapes, to strawberries, to apples and more! One thing I love doing with fruit is adding it into your cereal or dessert. It balances out healthy with un-healthy, and tastes delicious!
